After sorting tens of thousands of objects, and bidding places, friends and family a temporary farewell, I touched down in Fairbanks yesterday, and have been a resident for a little over 12 hours now.
AND I had my first bear siting right after landing! (should have packed that bear spray afterall)
Alright I promise not to be this Badump-cha anymore here.
but you know I couldn't resist.
I'm off to work to my first day at the Cold Climate Housing Research Center, and then to forage for warm clothing and shelter. Nervous with excitement to start my next chapter in life and work here in the North.
Thanks to everyone that helped get me here, be it through words, shelter or a helping hand. You'll not be forgotten.
Adieu for now. Core
Don't lose Cap up there. Also, don't get eaten by a bear.
